As a MIT study showed, users are more likely to bond with a robotic interface than with a screen-based agent. I assumed that this must be especially true for people alien to technology, such as children and old people. Mariposa is aware of its surroundings, and is able to overlay the real world with digital information through its projector. This makes it possible to break the keyboard-screen paradigm, allowing for new ways of interaction.
